The Community Independent Business Alliance is a voluntary, cooperative effort of independent, local businesses in Corvallis and surrounding areas who use education, networking, advocacy, and citizen involvement to help our community prosper and contribute to a diverse, healthy, and stable local economy.
How We Work
CIBA is registered in the state of Oregon as a non-profit organization and is run by a volunteer, elected board of directors.
Businesses may qualify to join as Business members of CIBA. Others who would like to participate in CIBA’s efforts—or simply show their support—can join as Associate members.
Take the lead
in Buy Local First activities in our community to increase awareness of the valuable role independent local businesses have in creating and maintaining a thriving, sustainable local economy.
Influence local government
to develop policies, rules, and regulations that encourage and nurture a pro-independent local business environment to reach our community’s goal of Buy Local, Invest Local, Produce Local.
Use the combined strength
of our members, partners and supporters to promote the success of all local independent businesses in our community.
